Blue Moon Farms
Ricarda (Retter x Diflor) was purchased in Germany in 2008 by Denise Higgins of Blue Moon Farms in Michigan. She bred her to Riemer before she shipped her to the US, and her colt Ricochet was born in May 2009. More pics of him in the foal section.
The Black Forest horses were almost extinguished, but the breed is now very popular again, because of the wonderful personality of the horses. They are mainly used to pull carriages, but are also hard working farm horses.
