Michael Jung and La Biostethique Sam FBW will stay together
Feb. 4, 2011: The German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Affairs secured the majority in the ownership of the Wurttemberg gelding that won the individual gold medal at the 2010 WEG
Eventing World Champion Michael Jung and Susanne Lauda, the USA liaison of the Wurttemberg breed registry
After months of speculations and even a health scare in the form of heart murmurs the future of this exceptional horse seems to be with his long time pilot Michael Jung. His family had already owned 40% of the bay Wurttemberg gelding that gives everything for Michael. Sabine Kreuter, who had originally purchased him at the Marbach sport horse auction and owned the remaining 60% had made it clear that she was ready to sell to the highest bidder. To secure the horse for the German team and his rider Micheal Jung the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Affairs purchased 47% of Sam, and Erich Single chipped in and purchased the remaining 13%. Provided that the heart murmur was indeed nothing more than a brief health scare the world will soon see more of Sam and Michi.
