Brentano II Son was the most expensive Horse at the Southern German Auction

Belini

Roland Metz, head of sales and marketing stated that he was quite satisfied with the result of the auction. The 28 horses achieved an average price of Euro 20,160.00, which was slightly higher than last year. The seven stallions from the licensing under saddle lot sold for an average price of Euro 13,640.00.

It had been the first time that interested buyers were able to watch the last official training on clipmyhorse.de, and especially the equestrians from abroad made good use of this feature.

The most expensive horse was the 3 year old wonder mover Belini, who sold for 106,000 Euros. The new owners, a family from the UK, were ecstatic to take this charming horse home for their 17 year old daughter. She had been a member of the British pony cadre, and Belini is her first full-size warmblood. He is by Brentano II x Walsrode, and was bred by Gabriele Eder.

The 5 year old black gelding Friedemann by French Kiss x Dornenkönig sold for Euro 50,000.00. Karin Bräuninger-Gimple is the breeder of this talented dressage horse, who has already been shown very successfully.

Latina Sunrice, a 6 year old highly talented jumper mare by Lordanos x Polydor, bred by Wolfgang Kühnle sold for 28,000 Euros.

A dressage barn from the state of Baden-Wurttemberg paid 27,000 Euros for the 3 year old Weltmeyer son Wilander out of a Feiner Stern mare. Breeder of this flashy gelding is Ernst Rus. Francesca by Fornsbacher x Gardez achieved the same price of 27,000 Euros. She is bred by Karl Kraft.

In total three of the horses were sold to Switzerland, one to the UK, one to Italy and one to the US, the rest remains in Germany.

The most expensive stallion out of the licensing under saddle lot was Lord London by Londonderry x Brentano II, who was purchased for 28,000 Euros by a Swiss equestrian. His breeder ist Erhard Nordmann.
